Director of Pharmacy — Compounding (Las Vegas)

HCC Pharmacy Staffing is helping recruit the Director of Pharmacy to lead and drive a growing compounding pharmacy operation based in the Las Vegas area. This is the senior leadership role that runs the pharmacy — serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), owning operations end to end, and driving the growth of a sterile and allergy compounding business. It's a builder-track opportunity for an experienced pharmacy leader who wants to build and scale, not just maintain.

About the role

As Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist-in-Charge, you are the person accountable for the pharmacy — clinical quality, operations, compliance, team, and growth. This is a drive-the-business leadership role (Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacy Manager / PIC), with sterile and allergy compounding at the core of the work.

What you'll do

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and Director of Pharmacy — accountable for day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance.

• Drive the growth and performance of the operation: set direction, standards, and priorities.

• Lead sterile compounding to USP <795>/<797>/<800>-aligned standards, alongside allergy (allergen immunotherapy) compounding.

• Hire, train, and lead the pharmacist and technician team, and set the quality culture that holds under volume.

• Own the compliance and multistate licensing map as the operation serves patients across state lines and expands.

• Stand up and refine systems, SOPs, and documentation as the operation consolidates and scales.

What we're looking for

• An experienced pharmacy leader — Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Manager, or Pharmacist-in-Charge background.

• Active pharmacist licensure with significant, hands-on sterile compounding experience.

• A track record leading, building, and driving teams and operations — not just individual bench work.

• California and Nevada experience; a California license is a strong plus (relevant given nonresident-pharmacy PIC expectations for operations serving CA patients).

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as the operation expands.

• An entrepreneurial, ownership-minded drive — you want to run it, grow it, and share in what you build.
