Job Description:

We are seeking a pharmacist with compounding experience for a compounding pharmacy in Ocala, FL. This is a temp-to-perm position with AM or PM shifts available, starting as soon as possible. The pharmacist will be responsible for verifying compounded preparations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and working with prescribers and pharmacy staff to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify compounded preparations in accordance with USP 795/797 guidelines
• Review prescriptions and check calculations, ingredients and labeling
• Supervise and check the work of compounding technicians
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality control procedures
• Communicate with prescribers and patients regarding compounded medications
• Maintain accurate compounding records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in Florida
• Compounding experience (sterile and/or non-sterile)
• Knowledge of USP 795/797 standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
